What I learned running a support team through a product launch that went badly. We knew the launch date for months but nobody told support what was actually shipping. Ticket volume tripled in two days and we were reading the release notes at the same time as customers.

What came back

  • Slide 1 (Cover): We had months of notice for a launch. We still found out what shipped from the customers reporting bugs.
  • Slide 2: The date was on every calendar. Nobody on support had seen the release notes before they went live.
  • Slide 3: Ticket volume tripled in two days. My team was reading documentation and answering angry customers at the same time.
  • Slide 4: The product was fine. The problem was that support learned about it in real time, with no chance to prepare answers.
  • Slide 5: A launch date on a calendar means nothing. Support needs the details days before customers do, not the moment it ships.
  • Slide 6 (Close): If support finds out at the same time as your customers, you don't have a launch plan. You have a countdown.

When to use it

Use this when you want a carousel and the hard part is deciding what goes on each slide. It splits your idea so every slide makes one point, with a cover that earns the swipe and a close that lands it. You get the text, not the design.

Common questions

Does it make the images?
No, this is the text only: what goes on each slide, in order. You take that into Canva, Figma or whatever you build carousels in. The writing is usually the part that stalls a carousel, not the layout.
How many slides should I use?
The slider sets a target and six to ten is the usual range. Fewer than five rarely justifies the format, and past twelve people stop swiping. One point per slide matters far more than the count.
What is the difference between LinkedIn and Instagram here?
LinkedIn carousels carry more text per slide and a more professional register, and are often read on a laptop. Instagram slides are shorter, more visual and written assuming a phone. The split of your idea changes accordingly.
Is it free?
You can run it three times a day with no account. Signing in gives you renewing monthly credits, and this tool costs one credit per run with the one-click refinements included.
