What came back

Subject: Approval to attend ProductCon in November ($1,200) Hi Rachel, Can I get your approval to attend ProductCon in November? Total cost would be about 1,200 dollars (800 for the ticket, 400 for travel and hotel). Three of our competitors are speaking, and I'd also use the trip to meet with two vendors we're evaluating. I'll put together a written summary for the team afterward. Early bird pricing ends September 30 and saves about 250 dollars, so it'd help to know before then. Let me know if that works. Thanks, [Your name]

When to use it

Use this when you need something from someone and want the email to make saying yes easy. It puts the ask near the top rather than burying it under justification, which is the single most common reason a request email gets skimmed and forgotten.

Common questions

Why does it put the ask so early?
Because a request buried under three paragraphs of justification often does not get read as a request at all. Stating what you need near the top, then why, is what lets a busy reader decide immediately instead of filing it for later.
Should I add a deadline?
If you genuinely have one, yes: a real deadline gives the reader a reason to act now rather than eventually. Do not invent urgency, because manufactured deadlines are transparent and they stop working the second time.
What if my ask is a big one?
Say so in the box, including the cost or effort involved. A large request that acknowledges its own size reads better than one pretending to be small, and it is much easier to say yes to something honestly framed.
Is it free?
You can run it three times a day with no account. Signing in gives you renewing monthly credits, and this tool costs one credit per run with the one-click refinements included.
