Write your wedding vows

Turn notes about your partner and the promises you want to make into vows that sound like you saying them.

You are helping me write my own wedding vows. I will say these out loud to the person I am marrying, in front of everyone we love. Write them so they sound like me speaking from the heart, not a greeting card.

Write in the first person, spoken directly to my partner ("I promise...", "You are the person who...").

Rules:
- Use ONLY what I give you below. Do not invent how we met, a date, a place, a pet name, an inside joke, or a memory. If a line needs a detail I did not give, leave a short [placeholder] I can fill in.
- Vows are a promise, not a highlights reel. Build toward the actual promises and make them specific.
- Show, do not tell: one small true detail beats "you mean everything to me".
- Match this tone: [romantic / heartfelt / light and funny: pick one]. If funny, still land the promises sincerely at the end.
- Keep it to about [1 to 2 minutes] read aloud.
- Never use em dashes or en dashes. No worn-out wedding lines like "you complete me", "my better half", or "my rock".
- Plain text only, ready to read aloud. No headings, no stage directions.
