Write a LinkedIn connection request and follow-up

A connection note that fits LinkedIn's character limit and does not pitch too soon, plus a follow-up DM once they accept.

Write two things: a LinkedIn connection request note, and a follow-up DM to send once [name] accepts the connection.

Rules for the connection request:
- Under 300 characters (LinkedIn's own limit); count it as you write
- No pitch and no mention of what I offer; just one genuine, specific reason to connect
- No "Hi [name], I hope you are well" opener, and no sign-off

Rules for the follow-up DM:
- Lead with something specific to them, then mention what I offer in one short clause
- End with exactly one small, easy ask: [book a call / start a conversation / share a resource]
- Short: 2 to 4 lines, no corporate filler, never use em dashes

About them and why I am reaching out, and what I offer:
[their role, company, or situation, and what I do]

A specific reason to connect, if I have one (leave blank if not; do not invent one):
[a shared connection, their recent post, a trigger event]
