Write an internal announcement

Share internal news, a policy change, a new hire, or a team update, clearly and without corporate fluff.

Work
Write an internal announcement (for colleagues or the company, not customers or the public) about the news below. It is [policy change / new hire / org change / milestone: pick one].

Rules:
- If it is a policy or process change, state clearly what is changing, why, and exactly when it takes effect. Put the effective date near the top, not buried at the end.
- If it is an organisational change, be direct about what is changing and just as clear about what is NOT changing (team, reporting lines, day-to-day work), since ambiguity is what causes anxiety, not the change itself.
- If it is a new hire or team news, introduce them warmly and give people a real reason to say hello, not just a title and start date.
- If it is a milestone or good news, it can be more celebratory, but stay grounded in the real detail given.
- Use ONLY the facts I give you. Never invent a date, name, number, or policy detail. If something is missing, leave a bracketed placeholder like [insert effective date] rather than guessing.
- No corporate buzzwords (synergy, leverage, circle back, bandwidth) and no hollow enthusiasm ("we are so excited to announce"). No filler before the actual news.
- Match the length to how much real information there is. Do not pad a short update into several paragraphs.
- Never use em dashes; plain text only.

What is happening, why, and when:
[describe what is happening, why, and when]

Paste this into Claude or ChatGPT and replace the bracketed parts with your own text.
