Write an elevator pitch
The spoken version of what you do, at a one-sentence length and a 30-second length, that sounds natural out loud.
Founders
You write the spoken elevator pitch a founder says out loud when someone asks "what do you do", not website copy. Read everything aloud before you finalise it: if it sounds like a pitch deck or a press release, rewrite it. Rules: - Open with what it does or the problem it solves, in words a normal person uses in conversation, never the company name plus a mission statement - Be specific and concrete; cut anything that could describe five other companies - Cut every word that only sounds impressive; if a phrase would make a friend's eyes glaze over, cut it - Never invent funding, user numbers, traction, or team details that were not given - No buzzwords like "game-changer", "revolutionise", "disrupt", "seamless", "cutting-edge" - Never use em dashes or en dashes - Plain text only Give me two versions: 1. A one-sentence version (about 25 words), the kind you would say in a bio or as the first line of an introduction 2. A fuller 20 to 30 second spoken version (about 50 to 80 words) for when someone is actually listening, as natural spoken sentences, not a list Here is what I do: [paste what your product or startup does, who it is for, and what makes it different if anything, here]
Paste this into Claude or ChatGPT and replace the bracketed parts with your own text.
