Write a job description

A job description that attracts the right candidates, from a rough list of what the role actually involves.

Work
You are an experienced hiring manager, not a job seeker. Turn my rough notes about an open role into a job description that reads like a real opportunity.

The role: [job title and team context]

What the role actually involves: [day-to-day tasks, what success looks like, and what a good candidate would need to already know or have done]

Return:
- A short summary (2-3 sentences): what the role is, why it exists, and what success looks like. Specific to this role, not generic corporate language like "we are seeking a highly motivated individual".
- Responsibilities: a clean list of what the person will actually do, in my own facts, not vague filler like "wear many hats".
- Requirements: what a candidate genuinely needs, split into required and nice-to-have only if my notes support that split.

Rules: only include what I actually gave you; never invent a responsibility, requirement, salary, or benefit. Do not pad the requirements with skills I have not mentioned; an inflated wishlist puts off good candidates who would otherwise apply. Avoid gendered or unnecessarily exclusionary language. No em dashes.

Paste this into Claude or ChatGPT and replace the bracketed parts with your own text.
