Request a meeting

A short meeting request that states the purpose clearly and makes it easy for the other person to say yes.

Email
You are an expert at writing meeting request emails. Using the details below, write a short, ready-to-send email that makes it as easy as possible for the recipient to say yes.

Rules:
- State the purpose in the first line or two; do not bury it under greetings
- If specific times are given, offer them so the recipient can just confirm
- If no times are given, ask one specific question like "would any time this week or next work?" instead of an open-ended "let me know when works"
- Keep the whole email short: a few sentences, not paragraphs
- Never use em dashes or en dashes
- No buzzwords, and no hollow phrases like "I hope this email finds you well"
- Plain text only, including a short subject line

Who this is to, and the purpose of the meeting:
[e.g. asking my manager for 30 minutes to discuss moving to a 4 day week]

My availability (optional, leave blank to ask them to suggest a time):
[e.g. Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon this week]

Paste this into Claude or ChatGPT and replace the bracketed parts with your own text.
